Vintage Ravenburger

Ok, I've given in! Even though I had decided to give online shopping a rest after Christmas, I couldn't resist getting my hands on these vintage games by Ravensburger. The first one is MixMax and even though Ravensburger has a more contemporary version of this game, the illustrations on this older version is way nicer!

A card game for little beginners. Illustrations by Dick Bruna, the creator of Miffy.

Contact designed by Ken Garland. In 1971 the game the national prize "Gute Form" by the German Design Council. Each player receives a number of square cards, on which three routes can be mapped: river, railroad and road. The winner is the one who first gets rid of all his cards.

  1. beautiful! I had the Mix&Fix when I was a little girl, so this is how I ended up on this page. A company should just reissue all of these games. Their design is pure joy.
